Our Bedroom

Hey everyone! This is our new bedroom. Chris and I, with the help of family, have put a lot of work into it. When we bought the house the walls in the master bedroom were a deep red, which really made the room look small. We put on two coats of Kilz and then two coats of "Pale Shrimp" by Behr at Home Depot. We also had the carpet replaced throughout the whole house. We bought most of the furniture at Target and we have been very pleased with the quality. We still have a Shabby Chic headboard and hope chest coming...Grandaddy repainted the dresser near the corner and added Shabby Chic knobs to it so that it would match the rest of the furniture in the room. It looks great! We also have the ringbearers pillows that grandma made for the wedding on our bed. We take them off at night, of ocurse. Speaking of beds, we put a down topper on the mattress and it feels fabulous! I would recommend that everyone get one! Well, that's all for now. More pictures to come! :)
