New Van

Yes Thats right we got a new van. It's a ford E350, 2000 silver gray.
I took all the seats out and will use it in our new business. (Spirit of Love Restoration)
Pat is making curtains & all kinds of window treatments and I am building cabnets & entertainment centers and some remodleing. I am still with CFA Dwarf House in Griffin 4
days a week from 2 pm till 11 pm each day the rest of week working for my self.

I didn't know if you knew it or not, but I and about 8 of my friends are doing Weight Watchers. So far, I've lost 11.4 lbs. and we have lost 72.6 lbs. all together.

a fish tale - NOT!

Wally and Jason went fishing today at my father-in-laws ( he has a small pond on his land) and they caught 14 fish in 45 minutes! The fish MUST have been hungry. One brim and 13 large mouth bass. Looks like a fish fry is down the road somewhere :~)

Children's Questions

Serena was home sick on Friday with a fever. She spent the day with Mornin' relaxing. When I picked her up and we headed home on 400, we saw loads of police cars. Deputies I knew personally were out there looking for a cop killer. When Serena saw the cars she asked, "Mom, could someone shoot you while you are in the courtroom?" What a chilling question from a 6 year old. I thought for a minute how easily this could happen in my courts. My answer to her was, "there are more good guys with guns in my courtroom than there are bad guys with guns. This has never happened in Forsyth County and I am sure now there will be extra steps taken to make sure it never does happen." She seems satisfied with this answer. The events of Friday hit home to me being that I am in that line of work, something my husband doesn't seem to understand. Many days I have sat just a few feet away from rapists, murderers, child molestors, thieves. Many people in my office new the slain judge and had even tried cases in his courtroom. My heart goes out to all of those involved.

Orthodontists

Sarah just had oral surgery about a week ago to attach a chain to an eye tooth that is laying down on the job. Now, we found out yesterday that Thomas has got to have the SAME surgery. What a weird thing. Sarah asked, "Does this run in the family?" I don't know but it sure cost a lot of $$$.$$!

It's Official!!!!!

Drum roll please.................... We are this (-) close to becoming 1st time home owners. We received our pre-approval letter today and now all we have to do is find a house in this crazy Florida market!! Say a prayer, wish us luck, find a four leaf clover, find a penny pick it up......

All Clear

Last week, the pediatrician heard a "loud hum" in Jackson's heart and referred us to a pediatric cardiologist. Today Jackson was hooked up to electrodes while Kris and I blew bubbles and entertained him with stickers. In the end, good news! It appears that Jackson just has loud blood flow into his heart. Who knew blood could be loud?

Hello from Florida :)

Howdy everyone! I think this is going to be a great way for all of us to get together, it will be like old times when we all lived just a hop, skip and jump away from each other!! Love my family!
