Recipe

Many of you have asked for the orange-cranberry spread recipe I made at New Years. Sorry it took so long to get it to you!
1 8 oz package of cream cheese
2 tablespoons of frozen orange juice concentrate
1 tablespoon sugar
zest of 1 orange
1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped, dried cranberries
1/4 cup chopped pecans

Beat cream cheese, zest, orange juice, and cinnamon until fluffy. Stir in cranberries and pecans. That's it! Oh, yea...and enjoy!

Memorial Service

The memorial service is over and Ginger is finally home in GA. We all went to Chick-fil-A for lunch. Bobby & Bridget, Anna,Wally & Judy, Jason, Phil & Patsy, Sarah, and Tom & Pat. It was a great time of fellowship. Laura, I know how much you and Bobby wanted to be here, so I'm sending these photos. We love you and your being there in Florida at this time means so much to Aunt Pat and me. There were about 20 others there at the service besides family.

Laura thank you for the flowers what a blessing to us
Uncle Tom

A long awaited resting place.

Today Little One and I witnessed my Cousin's vault with casket inside being disinterned.

It was a somber moment, odd moment, sad moment and along with all of those emotions a happy moment to know her remains were going back to Georgia to be near her family.

I felt like one of the final pages in her chapter were being written. Tomorrow she will be laid to rest in Georgia at 10am, I wish I could be there.

Hubby and I were talking about how odd it is that we were brought down to Clearwater and how this moment came out of the blue (even though it has been discussed for years), it just seems we were meant to be here at this moment in time!

Love to all my family my thoughts and prayers are with you.

**I did take some pictures with my camera phone you can click on the Flikr box down on the right side of my blog (lauratooblog.blogspot.com) if you would like to see them.

Memorial Service

There will be a memorial graveside service at Berea cemetery in Hampton for Ginger Palmer on Tuesday, January 17, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Norman Pyle will officiate. Ginger , at age 18, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 12, 1987 at the hands of a drunk driver. We are just now bringing her body back home. If you would like to attend, your presence would be a comfort, if not, please surround us with your prayers.

New Year's 2006

Hi to all:
I thought you might enjoy seeing what went on at Bobby & Bridget's 01/02/06.
We ate and had a good time sharing with each other. All Jack wanted was to go into Morning's attic, yes that
is right, Morning's attic. Laura, we missed you and Bobby and Nick, we wish you all could have been here.
Love you all Tom.
